Competition Policies

All parents and guardians are required to notify NEWBREED in advance of the event regarding any medical conditions, special needs, or accommodation requests. This advance notice allows our team to carefully review the situation and determine the safest and most appropriate way for the athlete to participate. Failure to provide prior notification may result in the athlete being unable to compete.

CREDITS OR REFUNDS

You can receive a credit voucher for a future event for any reason until 5:00 PM on the Friday before the event by logging into your account and opting to receive a credit voucher.

You can receive a refund for any reason until 5:00 PM on the Friday before the event by logging into your account and opting to receive a refund.

You can also receive a refund by sending an email to info@newbreedbjj.com by 4pm on the Friday before the event that you are registered for.

‍VOUCHERS

Vouchers are valid at any of our events nationwide and you do not need to email us unless of course you are having trouble.

VOUCHERS WILL NOT BE ISSUED AFTER THE TOURNAMENT FOR ANY REASON.

• NJJF reserves the right to combine and/or separate divisions pending competitor turnout.
• Female youth competitors 17 years and under are bracketed with male competitors. You can request that your child or student only compete with other female competitors, but there is no guarantee that it will be possible. If you elect to make this request, you would do so in the notes section during the registration process.

• All adult competitors must register for the division that matches their assigned gender at birth.
• We can accommodate an exhibition match or bracket if there are willing participants.
• Competitors wishing to organize an exhibition match or bracket must email info@newbreedbjj.com ahead of the tournament.

• Competitors 12 years and older that do not make weight will be disqualified and no refund will be given.
• Competitors 11 years and under that do not make weight, we will try to accommodate and move into a new bracket. This is not guaranteed. If there are no available matches, we will provide a credit for future use but no refunds will be given.

Voucher requests must be made by email (info@newbreedbjj.com).

Any voucher requests received after 5 PM on the final registration deadline will be discarded.

Vouchers are good for one year from the tournament date.
